Still life
For me, still life is far more than a traditional academic exercise. It is a way of slowing down and truly observing the ordinary objects that surround me every day. Whether I paint them realistically or allow them to drift into distortion, I am always searching for their character rather than their perfect appearance. Every object holds its own quiet story, and through painting I try to reveal the atmosphere, emotion and presence hidden within the familiar.
